Ink & Share Blog Hop - Sneak Peaks from NEW Annual Catalogue

Welcome to another Ink & Share Blog Hop.  Todays theme is the Sneak Peaks of our wonderful new 2018-20 Annual Catalogue.  Each catalogue seems to just get better and better.

I'm so excited with these Share What You Love Speciality Designer Series Papers #146926.  The pearlescent detail is gorgeous and everyone is loving them.

I left my photos until this morning as the weather was supposed to be lovely, sadly it's still overcast but at least I got photos taken outside!
The new Pearlised Doilies #146936 coordinate perfectly with this Suite.  The front has a pearlised finish but the reverse is plain white.  Either surface could be coloured if you wish.
I'm loving Mint Macron making a return to our colour palette and this is one of my favourite papers in the suite!

The sentiments on all these cards are from the Love What You Do stamp set #148042.
This card features our lovely Grapefruit Grove, one of the five NEW 2018-20 In-Colours and included in the Share What You Love Designer Series Papers.  More pearlescent accents here too.

I hope you have enjoyed my contribution today and that you continue 'hopping' around the globe today, admiring the talent that fellow Demonstrators are sharing with you today.  Simply click on the 'Next' button to jump to Joanne's blog.

Friends of SUBA - New Annual Catalogue Pre-Order

Hi and welcome to today's Blog Hop with Friends of SUBA, Simply Unique Business Angels, featuring products that Demonstrators have been able to 'pre-order' ahead of the NEW catalogue launches on 1st June.

A very warm welcome here on my Blog, you are currently visiting Sandra at my Stamp & Craft Studio here in Norfolk, UK.

Today I've chosen to feature a recent project I made but using the fabulous NEW Share What You Love Designer Series Papers #146926, in a different way.

This was a Mixed Media project I ran at a recent class.  Look closely and you will see the 3D flowers cut out from the Designer Papers.
Having primed the base and applied some texture  layers, we used the Stampin' Spritzers #126185 with reinker and a little isopropanol alcohol.
Dragonflies were cut and stuck together two layers together for strength.  Oh, and a few more lovely flowers cut from the SWYL papers !
A bit of Embossing paste with the brick Embossing stencil here.
Lastly, I have showcased the new Layering Alphabet Edgelits #145664 and Lined Alphabet #145908, bought as a bundle you save 10% using code #148390 together.

Thank you for stopping by today, I hope you have enjoyed all the inspiration so far.  Please continue along our 'hop' by clicking here to go to Carrie's blog and see what lovely creations she has to share with you.

Here is the full list of those 'hopping' today, so you can be sure to visit everyone and see the wonderful projects being shared by my fellow Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrators.

SDBH - NEW Annual Catalogue Sneak Peak

Welcome to the monthly Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop. This month's theme is our NEW Annual Catalogue Sneak Peak. You are currently visiting Sandra from Norfolk, UK. I hope you enjoy my projects today.

I've chosen to showcase the Varied Vases bundle, a fabulous punch and stamp bundle inspired by Mary Fish for her 1,000,000 CSV Million Sales Achiever.  I immediately fell in love with this set, seeing it first time at On Stage Convention in April and immediately was added to my wish list.  Look out for my upcoming classes with this bundle later in the year.
Here I have used a Basic Black base card layer, Whisper White mat layer and a top layer of Share What You Love Designer Series Papers #146926  which are gorgeous.  The 3/8" Basic Black Shimmer Ribbon #144129 has carried over into the new catalogue.

Images have all been stamped and punched, coloured with Watercolour Pencils #141709 and finally a touch of Wink of Stella Glitter Brush #141897 and a couple of Clear Rhinestone Basic Jewels #144220 have been added for a bit of bling.
My next card features a monochrome effect, mounting Basic Black and Whisper White mat layers onto a Sahara Sand base card.  I created a Post-It Note mask with actual punched black vases so that my class could stamp with them correctly positioned, to avoid the stems poking out the bottom of the vase!

Punched vases were added on 3D Stampin' Dimensionals #104430 and Mini Stampin' Dimensionals #144108.  The 'grounding' has been by creating a 'wash' using the Basic Gray Watercolour Pencil and an Aqua Painter #103954.

I hope the projects you've seen here on my blog today have inspired you and brightened your day.  Please see the list below and hop through all of the people on the list to see all our projects. You won't want to miss any!

Here is a list of all our participants this month :-

MINIATURE WINE BOTTLE GIFT BOX

Following on from yesterdays Alaska Achievers Blog Hop HERE, welcome back to see the directions for making my Miniature Wine Bottle Gift Box.
I have found that the height of the miniature bottles can vary, so please make a draft yourself from scrap card to make sure you are happy with the height first.  You can see the Pinot Grigio in the photo above is shorter than the others !

I wanted to be able to make this from one sheet of A4 card so this is where you will need to start.

1.  Cut your card 8" x 7.5".

2.  With long side at the top, score at 1-1/4", 2-1/2", 3-3/4", 5", 6-1/4" and 7-1/2".

3.  Turn 1/4 turn.  Score at 1-1/4" across top and bottom.

4.  Snip up the bottom blue lines where indicated up to the 1-1/4" score line.  Cut away two small corner sections as indicated.

5.  On the top flaps, measure in 3/8" from each flap edge as indicated on template.  Cut away these on the angle as indicated.

6.  Place a ruler 3/8" down from the top, marking a pencil dot in the centre where hole will be punched for ribbon.  Punch holes as indicated.

7.  Place adhesive where marked GLUE FLAP and connect together to make a tube.

8.  Fold in all bottom flaps to form a base.  I prefer to attach the two opposites in pairs, holding glue area with tweezers until secure.

9.  If you wish to make your own washers round the ribbon holes, punch spaced holes in coordinating colour.  Re-punch centred over the top, using 1/2" circle punch.  This will make washers to glue round outside box holes.

10.  To decorate cut one mat layer at 4-3/4" x 1".  If you require two layers, cut the middle one to 12.5cm x 3cm (sorry to mix inches and cm, but this worked better !)

11.  Insert miniature wine bottle and thread ribbon.  Tie with bow to fasten.

12.  With the larger version, I have reinforced the base with scallop circles.  This size is not heavy enough to warrant extra strength, but you can do if you wish, using TWO Layering Circles Framelits #141705, slightly bigger than the base.
I hope you have fun creating this.  Think of me when I was creating this original Miniature template at 4:30am and how many goes it took to get it right !!!!

Happy craftin'
